Siesta Key in Florida is considered a popular hot spot for visitors, whether they are young or old. However, a new reality show is interested to showcase and highlight the adventures of the elite teenageers in the area for the coming summer season.
One visitor that goes by the name of Jonathan Heck says that Siesta Key is really a nice beach town that’s pretty chill. He also liked the fact that they have great water and food too. Heck can’t help but comment that the same qualities that he liked about it may also be the reasons why MTV decided to produce a reality show based in Sarasota county. Nevertheless, he thinks that it’s a great choice and added that they have a lot of material that they could use and that it could also be pretty fun in here.
Jeanne Corcoran who is currently the director of the Sarasota County Film Commission agrees with Heck. The director says they are expecting this to be fun and energetic and are already looking forward to the beautiful places in Sarasota being showcased in the show, including that of Siesta Key.
Corcoran has been working alongside with the show’s producers. She says that ‘Siesta Key’ producers already shot the pilot over a year ago and they are already expecting them to return over the next few weeks so that they could start shooting for the entire season. MTV describes the show as an unscripted series. They will be launching this on July 19th. This will be focused on a group of kids from an elite Florida territory who are returning home, ready for the summer after having spent some time in freshman college. Corcoran is already hoping that with the help of the said show, they will be able to attract MTV’s adult demographic to come check out their place.
