Graduation ceremonies may be over, but college seniors can still choose to have fun in one school.
The professors at Morningside College will be busy this summer season. They were asked to teach for the May Term, which is a three-week period where the faculty members are encouraged to participate in alternative classes, which are said to be completely unrelated to their departments. This is the reason why May Term is considered a fun event for the students. Some of the options available are the following:
Students will be taking drone pictures in here. On campus, some of these will be spying on you, but relax. It will not be every day. Faculty member Rich Crow will also be taking the students off-campus in trips. They will be learning drone photography on farms, areas parks, and on other locations that present an interest for landscape shots.
This is a pretty straightforward class. The students will be given the chance to write their own screen or stage plays, where they will be learning on how to deal with plots, dialogue, and characters. The students in this class are expected to start with short scenes where they will later on work to create a one-act play.
Always a Critic!
A class with an exclamation point. Students will be taught by Dr. Jessica LaPaglianon how to critique varied topics. This class will consist of three parts: travel reviews, food and restaurant reviews, and movie reviews. With this class, the students will no longer be judging things out of a whim – they will learn how to collect their thoughts and come up with creative argument as to why the experience was good or not.
